The Real MacGuffins
The Real MacGuffins are a London-based comedy sketch trio; Dan March, Jim Millard and Matt Sheahan in alphabetical order (not importance...well...actually, yes that too). One's taller, one's shorter and one's more bearded and they're bringing their latest cavalcade of characters to the Edinburgh Fringe.
From eerie shopkeepers to the world's worst mountaineers, from disturbing tea ladies to everyone' s favourite graphic design-based mobsters ‘The Fonterellis', this is a delightful mixture of character-driven material and daft sketches, all bound together with some serious punning talent.
Directed by Cal McCrystal, who has directed the legendary Peepolykus and The Mighty Boosh, The Real MacGuffins mix originality with quick-fire puns, gags and fast-paced sketches to create a riotous hour that takes an awful lot of pleasure in poking fun at the world.
