Sarah-Jane Honeywell

Sarah Jane is best known for her work on Cbeebies, where she is a presenter on the preschool magazine show TIKKABILLA and has many comedy antics in HIGGLEDY HOUSE. Sarah Jane has also presented the links on Cbeebies, presented Cbeebies radio on BBC7 and co-hosted four National Arena Shows for BBC Worldwide including, TWEENIES AND FRIENDS (2004 and 2005) and the original CBEEBIES LIVE (05/06 and 07/08).  She is currently filming two brand new shows for them.

As well as working on kid's TV, Sarah Jane has done many other wonderful jobs. Other TV credits include, PAZ for the Discovery Channel (which was also shown in the Steven Spielberg film, 'Terminal' - SJ's character featured in a scene with Tom Hanks, which was nominated for an Emmy Award). SJ played a variety of characters in TEDDY BEARS for Meridian and she was a dancer and acrobat in MEGAMATHS 1,2 & 3 for the BBC.

Sarah Jane began her career at 18, working as a contortionist. By the time she was 19, she had landed herself a two year contract in CATS the Musical in London's West End.  She went on to play various theatre roles including, ‘Kaa' in a Nationwide Tour of THE JUNGLE BOOK; ‘Siobhan' in TAKE AWAY at the Hammersmith Lyric; ‘Zazel', a contortionist, in HARDTIMES at the Union Chapel Islington; ‘Radish' in THE SUITCASE KID at The Brix and an acrobatic flying Nun in FALSTAFF at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. SJ later returned to CATS and had the privilege to play ‘Etcetera' in the very last show at the New London Theatre.

She had her sixth stint as PETER PAN in panto at Horsham's Capitol Theatre last year and is set to star in a new Qdos pantomime this year as 'Ariel' in THE LITTLE MERMAID AND THE PIRATES.

Film appearances include THE NUTCRACKER and the award winning short film, TRAVELLING LIGHT.

Recently, Sarah Jane launched a 5 track CD called "Believe in Magic" and a Sarah Jane doll was produced. The title song "Believe in Magic" is available on itunes and at Sarah Jane website www.sarah-jane.biz

She's also an agile acrobat and aerialist and she sings in the punk band Kandy Tantrum.
