Lauretta Gavin

Lauretta is one half of the sister comedy double act, Gavin & Gavin. They started their partnership when Lauretta was three and a half and Sharon just a day old. Lauretta took ownership of this child - loving, cherishing and attending to its every need. When Sharon reached five years of age they first appeared on stage together. Lauretta landed the leading role in Wizard Of Oz and Sharon was awarded the part of Toto her dog. The die was cast.

They have written and performed in four highly successful Edinburgh shows, with transfers to the West End, Soho theatre and nationwide.

Lauretta has recently finished filming a new film, HARRY BROWN and has appeared in many comedies including: SKINS (E4), MY FAMILY (BBC), PULLING (BBC), DOC MARTIN (series 1 & 2, BBC), EASTENDERS(BBC), THE CALCIUM KID (Working Title Films), SWISS TONI (Tiger Aspect), 15 STOREYS HIGH (BBC), ROGER ROGER (BBC) and THIS LIFE (BBC).
