As one third of the sketch troupe THE CONSULTANTS, he won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award in 2002 and Justin was nominated for the main Perrier award in 2005 for his solo show, WHAT'S THE TIME MR LION. He has enjoyed considerable success with ‘Jeremy Lion', including three sell out years at Edinburgh, two UK tours, a run at the Melbourne comedy festival and a full length show at the Menier Chocolate Factory; as well as a variety of television appearances. Jeremy Lion will make a welcome return to the Edinburgh Fringe this year!
Justin is a regular voice on radio, having written and performed in four series of THE CONSULTANTS for Radio 4, and he has appeared in a huge variety of radio sitcoms, sketch shows and panel shows, including THE NEWS QUIZ, ARMANDO IANNUCI'S CHARM OFFENSIVE, LOOSE ENDS and most recently, THE ODD HALF HOUR. In 2008 he wrote and performed BUY ME UP TV for Radio 2, as well as the Radio 4 sitcom DOUBLE SCIENCE.
Justin is an experienced singer and guitarist. He wrote and performed the music for all THE CONSULTANTS shows, THE ODD HALF HOUR and he is a regular guest on Radio 2's OUT TO LUNCH and JAMMIN'. Justin took his acclaimed one man musical show UNACCOMPANIED AS I AM to Edinburgh in 2006 and was featured on Radio 4's TICKLING TUNES for his comic song writing abilities.
Justin's television credits include the role of ‘Ben Swain MP' in the Bafta award winning sitcom, THE THICK OF IT, the lead role in Five's sitcom, RESPECTABLE and a diverse range of roles including SKINS, RUDDY HELL IT'S HARRY AND PAUL, BLACK BOOKS, NOT GOING OUT, ABSOLUTE POWER, PEEP SHOW, REGGIE PERRIN and THE OLD GUYS. Feature Films include TRAUMA, THE DECAMERON, IN THE LOOP and THE DUCHESS.
He has written and performed in both series of the BAFTA nominated "Sorry I've Got No Head" (So TV for CBBC) and has co-written the spin off series "Game Over".
